Most helpful text ever

Review by Almost a student-no-more, 2007-07-07

I am currently in my last semester of a graduate degree in counseling psych, and this book is the best textbook I have read during my program. (And WOW, have I read a lot of books.) The book is easy to read, well categorized, gives a balanced amount of case examples, and takes a novice step by step through the process of writing a comprehensive treatment plan. I have found it to be indispensable information as I finish up my internship. I also found this book to work very well in conjunction with James Morrison's book, DSM-IV Made Easy: The Clinician's Guide to Diagnosis
