Important to have on hand for assessing neuro status via pupil-check. Nice that it has the pupil size chart is located on the side of the penlight for quick reference.

it works like its suppose to, cheap and disposable, orginally i was looking for a good penlight that uses replaceable batteries but i couldnt find a decent one out there but this works too

I bought these penlights for my first year nursing students. We are learning assessments skills. They are great. We find the pupil gauge very helpful. I would highly recommend this product.

They work, obviously it's purpose is to check for responsiveness, or other ailments. Probably not going to use this to go camping (though I keep one molle'd into my go bag) but it's always a handy little tool.
