Used this to study for the TEAS V, and it helped me refresh all my grammar, reading comprehension and math skills. The science was more helpful than the ATI book. But they were still not enough to get over a 70% in the science. Read anatomy book,s and biology books if your school requires a higher score

Very useful

I was extremely nervous to take the TEAS test but this book did help a lot. Math is defintely not my strong point and this book really helped me through it. The only complaint I have for this book is the science portion. For the TEAS test they asked a lot of earth science questions and this book didnt help with that area. Overall this book was a excellent refresher and I ended up scoring well.

Good prep book

The thing I really liked the most about the McGraw prep book is the ease of use and thorough explanations of answer choices. I spent about 3 hours going through the practice exams in the back and they are well written and test everything you will need to know for the nursing entrance exam. I do recommend Kaplan's NSEE book as a better study guide though. That book would get 5 stars.

It is a great book to prepare you for the entry exams very complete but i will be using like 2 books to get ready to take the HESI exam .. But the HESI review guide is not very good so i am using this book instead.

Great for the math part.

I took the exam two days ago and passed all three sections (college does not require science part) with above 85%. The reading part was a lot different than I expected but I believe this book can help with the reading part. The math part was very close to what was on the test. My college allows a person to take the test 3 times in order to pass all three sections. I decided to only concentrate and study the math and reading part for the first time around, but was able to pass all three sections so I do not know if the English part of this book is any good or not.
